This was a log cabin refinishing and painting job on the east end of West Hawk Lake, Manitoba with boat in access only. The owner wanted to have the logs refinished because they were starting to weather. She showed us a photo of a grey cabin that she liked the look of. We colour matched the photo.
The owners were thinking of painting the stones as well but we recommended waiting on the stones until it was painted because we thought the grey logs would complement the original colour. It worked and they decided to leave the stones as is. This project completely rejuvenated the cottage and yard. The owners are very happy with the finished result. The whole project took 4 days including prep, priming and two coats of paint.
